Things to do in Phoenix this December
1. Visit this holiday-themed light maze in Surprise, Arizona
Experience in a different way this year, getting into the holiday spirit at Desert Light Farms walking among one million dazzling lights throughout their Desert Light Walking Trail, where you can take photos with 11 ft snowmen, climb inside their Gingerbread sleigh, and take pictures inside a 10 ft ornament.
The remainder of the one million lights illuminates their Immersive Candy Cane Maze. So get lost or follow the map through the half-acre experience and be rewarded with a magical 20 ft Christmas tree in the center space. The perfect place to take some pictures for your Christmassy Instagram!
2. Spend a magical day with Santa Claus at The Children’s Museum Of Phoenix
Spend a magical day at the museum. Share your holiday wishes with Santa, enjoy snow flurries in the Atrium, and play in three floors of imaginative exhibits this weekend.
Visit the museum from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and take a picture with Santa Claus. All of these activities are free, with paid admission of $16 per person.
