The Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix is celebrating educators in July.
Are you a teacher? The MIM is celebrating you and your work with free admission for the whole month. During the entire month of July, prekindergarten through 12th-grade educations, school and district administrators, principals, registered student teachers, and homeschool educators will receive free general admission upon presentation of a school ID, fingerprint clearance card, or affidavit of intent.
“We believe that educators are both leaders in their communities and vital partners of the museum. In that spirit, MIM is pleased to announce our Educator Appreciation Month in July”, they wrote on their website.
And that’s not it! Educators will receive a 10% discount on most items at the Museum Store and a 10% discount (excluding alcohol) in Beats Coffee Bar and Café Allegro.
This exhibit features standout instruments remarkable in beauty, craftsmanship, and cultural significance. Eighty exceptional instruments fill this gallery, including some of the finest from the museum’s collection and more than twenty loans from renowned museums, private collections, and musicians worldwide.
