1. Drink a beer while supporting women-owned businesses in Phoenix
Drink beer for a good cause. The Greenwood Brewery in downtown Phoenix, owned by Megan Greenwood will be donating $1 per pint of their Herstory Pale Ale to different women organizations. You can read more about it here.
2. Step into a prehistoric immersive experience at Reid Park Zoo
The “Dinosaur Discovery” exhibit at Reid Park Zoo is open and ready to welcome visitors who want to learn more about dinosaurs. It features a time-traveling immersive experience where children and adults will be able to get face-to-face with several prehistoric creatures. Every detail about it is here.
3. Visit this Pulp Fiction-themed bar in Gilbert
Tarantino fans will be in for a treat when this Pulp Fiction bar opens this March. Frank Vairo, owner of “The Bar” in Arcadia will be opening a new venue in downtown Gilbert. Details are not yet available but we’ll keep you posted so you don’t miss it!
4. Learn about the slowest animals at the Arizona Science Center
Take your children to this educational and fascinating exhibition featuring slow animals and how they survive in the wilderness. Ticketholders will be able to meet a live sloth, a hedgehog, an iguana, and more! Here’s everything you need to know.
5. Join the party at this St. Patrick’s Day celebration
The Parade and Faire is scheduled for Saturday 12 and it’ll be starting at Third and Oak Street at 10:00 am. After the parade, spend a whole day of fun featuring bagpipers and step dancing at Margaret T. Hance Park.
6. Buy tickets for the 32nd annual Folk & Heritage Festival
Celebrate the history and culture of folk music on March 5-6. Be a part of several musical workshops and enjoy live performances at Sahuaro Ranch Park. Admission is free!
7. Watch a jousting tournament at the Arizona Renaissance Festival
The Arizona Renaissance Festival is taking place through April 3, 2022, and features a 50-acre village, 16 stages, arts & crafts fair, escape rooms, jousting tournaments, and feasting. They have different themed weekends so head over to their website for information about tickets and special events taking place throughout March.
