Put on your dancing shoes! Smashing Pumpkins has just confirmed a concert in Phoenix with Jane’s Addiction.
The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a Phoenix concert this November 18, just a little over a month after kicking off their “Spirits on Fire Tour,” which starts in October. The show will take place at the Phoenix Footprint Center downtown.
Poppy and Jane’s Addiction will join the fun as special guests. Tickets have been on sale since last Friday, so if you’re interested, purchase yours as soon as possible.
About The Smashing Pumpkins
They are an American alternative rock band from Chicago, formed in 1988. They’ve won two Grammy Awards and one American Music Award. Their last album, “Cyr,” was released in 2020 and featured a synth-pop sound. All tracks were written by Billy Corgan, the bandleader. It generally received favorable reviews.
Jane’s Addiction
Jane’s Addiction is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1985. Their last album, “The Great Escape Artist,” was released 11 years ago. It was their first album since their 2003 release, “Strays.” The vocalist, Perry Farrell, explained, “it’s a strange mixture of post-punk goth darkness that Jane’s had, with what’s going on today with groups like Muse and Radiohead.”
