If you went to get some breakfast at Cane’s yesterday, you probably ran into Rob Schneider, who was there working the morning shift.
The comedian served chicken fingers, drinks, and movie tickets to promote his new movie “Daddy Daughter Trip,” which opens up in theaters next week.
Schneider chose Phoenix to promote the movie because it features many Arizona locations, including Saguaro Lake Ranch, Salt River, Butterfly Wonderland, Bearizona Wildlife Park, Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Park, and different Phoenician businesses.
“We shot the whole movie here, I’m a resident now – I’m your neighbor, be nice – and people have been great to us. This movie is for Arizonians”, he said according to Fox10.
The movie premiere will take place on Tuesday, September 27, at the Harkins Theatre at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Twenty moviegoers will win free Cane’s for a year. Don’t miss it!
About “Daddy Daughter Trip”
According to IMDB the movie is about “a spring break trip vacation with a series of misfortunate adventures is saved when the duo meets a couple of famous travel bloggers.”
“My wife Patricia and I chose to make the great state of Arizona our home to raise our family not just for its incredible natural majesty and beauty but also for all that it has to offer,” Schneider said in a statement.
Schneider, who wrote, directed, and produced this film, will share credits with his daughter, Miranda Scarlett Schneider.
