Scientific studies show the art of mindfulness can relieve anxiety, depression, pain, and stress and actually change the way you feel, think, work, and play, opening new pathways in the brain. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction was developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1979 by Physicist Jon Kabat-Zinn.
These weekly sessions will be presented through Zoom, a video conference program, in collaboration with Hospice of the Valley.
