There’s A Bookstore Bar In Phoenix Where You Can Drink And Read

Do you love reading? Cheers! First Draft Book Bar will become your favorite place in the city.

A bar in a bookstore? We don’t know why there are so few of these around the country. The good news is that there’s a great one in Phoenix, and if you haven’t visited it, it’s time for you to mix your drinking with your reading.  If you didn’t know, there’s an excellent book bar inside the legendary Changing Hands indie bookstore in Camelback Road. The First Draft Book Bar features an extensive wine, beer, kombucha, teas, coffee, and mocktails selection for you to devour that book cover to cover while sipping on your favorite drink (alcoholic or not).  You won’t find a better place to relax!

And that is not it… If all of this reading has made you hungry, indulge in their homemade pastries, sandwiches, soups, and avocado toasts.

These are some of our favorite items on their creative menu:

Moby Dick
House tuna salad, melted Havarti, and mustard on noble bread with tortilla chips or crudités.

The Great Gatsby
Salami, pepperoni, melted Havarti, turmeric aioli, and fresh greens on noble bread.

Hansel and pretzel
Soft Noble pretzel with vegan butter and salt with mustard.
