Experience the natural beauty of the desert with this enchanting annual holiday tradition.
The holiday season is upon us, and there’s no better way to kick off the season than being entranced by the glow of festive lights. Spend quality time with loved ones in the natural beauty of the desert, littered with thousands of dreamy luminarias and flickering lights, and festive holiday plant displays.
Sip on tasty seasonal drinks as you walk through the trails of the Desert Botanical Garden accompanied by holiday melodies. While the usual dinner buffet will not be available this year, visitors can make dinner reservations at Gertrude’s Restaurant, and limited grab-and-go food options will be available for those who want a quick bite.
The garden will have a contactless virtual photo booth set up so that guests can get their ‘gram on with photos, GIFs and Boomerangs. And this year for the first time, Las Noches De Las Luminarias has a special silent night scheduled for the Winter Solstice on December 21. It’s a one night event with no music, where visitors can enjoy the stillness of the desert for an evening of self-reflection and rejuvenation.
Tickets for these magical evenings are $29.95 for adults and $10.95 for kids. The event will run on select nights starting Friday, November 27 through December 31, and there will be a special member-only weekend at the beginning of December (December 4 – 6) with limited live music.
Location: 1201 N. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix
