Happy Squid Game Season! This dessert spot in Arizona is hosting a Dalgona Cookie Challenge.
Are you obsessed with the Netflix series “Squid Games”? You’re not the only one. In one of the episodes of the first season, participants of the Squid Games are challenged to carve out a shape out of a Dalgona Cookie, sending the world into a frenzy, looking for similar cookies in their areas.
Luckily, Scottsdale has a dessert spot called “Dessert in Desert” that is featuring a Dalgona Challenge. If you successfully carve out the shape, they’ll give you a free Taiyaki. A Taiyaki is a Japanese fish-shaped cake. It imitates the shape of the tai, which it is named after. The filling options are red bean, custard, Nutella, and cream cheese.
But hurry up and participate because it’s available for a limited time only!
Tip: Licking on the cookie might be a good strategy.
