The captivating Candlelight Open Air series is bringing some of the best known hits and classical compositions in music history to some of Phoenix’ premier venues. Through live music performances by classically trained musicians, it is giving venues and top destinations such as Arizona Boardwalk and the Phoenix Zoo a unique musical glow.
As you’re surrounded by the twinkling lights of thousands of candles, this season you can hear popular melodies by artists in the likes of Taylor Swift, Queen, Joe Hisaishi and Queen reimagined by the country’s most sought-after musicians. There’s fewer plans as enchanting as experiencing music in a tranquil setting, accompanied by bird chirping and the cool breeze.
Arizona Boardwalk
Besides its landscapes, Scottsdale is also known for the thrilling Arizona Boardwalk, one of Arizona’s best entertainment destinations. The complex features nine marquee attractions, a number of shopping and dining options, an aquarium, a dinosaur exhibit and bumper boats. It’s basically a kid’s idea of paradise.
The Phoenix Zoo
Founded by Robert Maytag, The Phoenix Zoo is the largest privately owned, non-profit zoo in the United States. It proudly boasts more than 3,000 animals with nearly 400 species represented, including many threatened/endangered species. Spread around 125 acres, it has been labelled a Phoenix Point of Pride. For anyone interested in visiting the zoo for a fun family day out, Phoenix Zoo has four main trails, namely The Africa Trail (animals from Africa), The Arizona Trail (American Southwest flora and fauna), the Tropics Trail (residents of the rain forests) and the Children’s Trail.
After having enormous success around the world, Candlelight brings its unique experience to incredible open-air venues in Phoenix. Journey back to some of your fondest memories and favorite on-screen moments while sitting surrounded by the warm glow of thousands of candles.
Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
