The Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix is happy to continue to support the arts and our local community on First Fridays with Free admission/pay what you wish admission each month.
The beautiful garden welcomes guests on the first Friday of each month from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, with last admission at 7:00 pm.
The garden is located just beside Roosevelt Row; in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, this natural oasis welcomes everyone to enjoy a tranquil stroll through their living art and transport themselves to Japan.
No registration is required! Just come to the gate anytime from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
What is the Japanese Friendship Garden?
The Japanese Friendship Garden, also known RoHoEn is a joint project of the City of Phoenix and their Sister City Himeji, Japan. The major proposed the garden in 1987. It features a tea house, a surrounding tea garden, a stone garden, and a courtyard garden.
