Artopia, a multifaceted art exhibit, is opening in Phoenix on Thursday, March 24 and we now know where the experience will be held! At the heart of 313 W Apache St, Phoenix, AZ 85003, modern technology and skilled artists come together to tie the authentic with the avant-garde.
The exhibit will run through July 31. Grab your tickets here!
Artopia will be hosted in a warehouse-turned-art exhibit. Michael Levine, the venue owner, has been repurposing run down buildings in the warehouse district to restore them for various uses. He became one of the first to acquire old buildings in Phoenix to preserve them, returning a number of warehouses to commerce for the past 20 years. His mission aligns perfectly with Artopia’s value statement: bridging the old and the new.
For the art exhibit, production company Superfrüit will completely transform one of Levine’s warehouses into a fully avant-garde exhibit space. Expect futuristic sound-reactive LEDs, large-scale light art, holographic technology, and interactive projection mapping — all living in symbiosis with Artopia’s larger-than-life sculptures and intricate murals.
Artopia doesn’t only highlight an eclectic collection of works from locally and nationally renowned artists. In the fully transformed venue, you’ll even get to enjoy Artopia After Dark Event Programming in the Artopia Lounge! The lounge—among other elements of the exhibit—redefines the typical art experience, plunging you into the interactive nature of the event.
All mediums merge together for Artopia After Dark, providing a kaleidoscopic experience that features DJ sets, burlesque shows, and more, making for a never-before-seen immersive experience.
